We work to create a world where people with disabilities are armed with the knowledge, understanding and confidence to build and maintain a positive social life.

The Cliq Connection's Mission Statement

The Cliq Connection empowers NDIS participants to build meaningful social connections through our secure, inclusive Australian dating and friendship app. Our direct experience through First Step Solutions and The Date-Ability Project has connected us deeply with the disability community, helping us understand their unique needs.

Community members shared their challenges in both online and real-world social settings with us. Many have faced financial scams and harassment, leading to anxiety and frustration when seeking new connections. The lack of safe social spaces creates barriers for people with disabilities who want to build relationships. Our Date-Ability program directly addresses these challenges by teaching essential social safety skills. We recognised the NDIS community’s urgent need for a safe platform and responded by creating Australia’s first verified disability dating and friendship app.

The Cliq Connection came to life

The development of the Cliq Connection is based on:

Being accessible exclusively to NDIS participants,

Everyone’s right to express themselves,
Everyone’s right to have social connections or relationships of their choosing & preference.
